Actor, writer, director, and producer Clea DuVall has portrayed some of the most beloved and memorable queer characters in film and television, starring in such wide-ranging projects as But I’m a Cheerleader, American Horror Story, Veep, and The Handmaid’s Tale. As we celebrate Pride Month, DuVall joins us for a conversation about LGBTQ+ representation and her desire to tell authentic queer stories both in front of and behind the camera; her feature directorial debut, Intervention; the holiday rom-com Happiest Season; and her highly-anticipated TV adaptation of Tegan and Sara’s memoir, High School.
